A Study on the Systematization of Service Quality Management System of Long-term Care(LTC)

Abstract
The aim of this study is to establish systematic plans for improving quality of LTC service on the institutional aspect. In this study, the definition and ingredient in terms of the quality of LTC service, as well as current obstacles and improvement which previous research has presented, were analyzed and investigated. This study presents five aspects about quality management system of LTC service; First, the establishment of legal and institutional standards for LTC service quality management. Second, the management of quantity and quality about facilities and human resources infrastructures. Third, the establishment of the social minimum standard for LTC service. Fourth, the evaluation about LTC service quality management, Fifth, the principle agency of the LTC service quality management. Also, systematic plans for TLC service management were made in terms of above five aspects. To improve and systematize the LTC management compared to the current status, as a result, it is necessary to establish the following alternative; i) the system for managing quality and quantity of facilities and human resources infrastructures; ii) the standard for providing high-quality service; iii) the plan for improving the current evaluation system, iv) the plan for introducing the independent management institution.
